Next Mosaic will be wild: Storytellers announced

Battle Creek Enquirer
Master of Ceremonies Sean Washington speaks before the Mosaic Story Telling Showcase at the Warehouse on Thursday evening.

A roster of storytellers has been announced for the next Mosaic storytelling event, and it includes some familiar faces.

The theme of the night is “animals,” whether it’s rescuing cats, training pigs or recognizing the animal within.

We’re going to pack in more storytellers, but the event should still be about an hour and a half long.

Storytellers include: Jeremy Andrews, Jenny Barnett, Dave Bowers, Shirley Carr, Colleen Clement, Niaomi Curtis, Paula Geister, Betty Kreiter, Mark Lambert, Emily Lomonaco, Nicole L.V. Mullis, Charles Rose, Marty Schimmelpfenneg, Bob Ward and Joe Zeigler. Sean Washington will be emcee for the night.

The concert will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at First Congregational Church in Battle Creek.

Tickets are $7 and are available at Enquirer's Commerce Pointe office at 77 E. Michigan Ave. in Battle Creek, at Battle Creek Books at 51 W. Michigan Ave. or online at tickets.battlecreekenquirer.com/e/mosaic-storytelling-showcase-2. Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of South Central Michigan and All Species Kinship.
