Pickup slides into B.C. school bus; two children injured

Two children were injured this morning when a pickup truck slid into a bus outside Verona Elementary School.

Battle Creek Police Department officers said the truck was southbound on Sharon Avenue when the driver, unable to stop, collided with the bus eastbound on Pitman Avenue, where students were preparing to disembark.

Two children bumped their heads and were checked out by Lifecare paramedics.
